Simon Students of the Month
Congratulations to our Simon Students of the Month!
Noah L., Zella H., Malcolm P., Brandee T., David P., and TJ B.
Please read below to see what our teachers say about these amazing students.
Noah is a great student! He uses what he has learned about numbers and applies it to new concepts. He has a wonderful work ethic and a great personality. He is kind to all of the other students and offers to help them. Noah even asks for work related to math concepts that are advanced for his grade level. His character and model behavior are evident in all of his classes. We are pleased to recognize Noah as one of our 5th grade Students of the Month.
Zella is a joy to have in class because she is kind, extremely hardworking and always has a positive attitude. She is always eager to ask questions when she doesn't understand and enjoys helping her classmates learn. Congratulations to Zella on being chosen one of 5th gradeís Students of the Month!
Malcolm makes me glad to be a teacher. He shows such strong character through his honesty and hard work. He never takes the easy way out. He disciplines and motivates himself. His effort always shows through in the work he does. Malcolm is very responsible, reliable, and willing to help. He is caring towards others and is a great teammate. Other students love being in class with him. Way to go, Malcolm!
Brandee is an awesome young lady! She KNOWS what she wants and works so hard to do her absolute best every single day. She has set her bar very high - and she meets that challenge day in and day out. Brandee is caring towards her classmates and respectful to her teachers. Thanks so much to Brandee for doing her part to make Simon a wonderful place to learn!
David is the epitome of everything a student of character can and should be. He works diligently to ensure he understands the information that is covered. He is even willing to give up his own lunch period to come in for extra help before a test. David is helpful to his fellow students both inside and outside of the classroom. He has impeccable manners with students and teachers alike.
TJ set some positive goals that he wants to achieve this school year, and he is definitely on the right track. Determination, academic growth, and good sportsmanship are words that describe his character. His mom is one of his greatest supporters, and thank you to the many Simon teachers for helping him develop into an awesome student and person.
